Our programs for 2-year-olds in Rosenberg TX are designed to spark curiosity, build independence, and support early development. We offer a safe, engaging space where toddlers explore through play, learning, and social interaction.

Learning Program For 2 YO

We believe in creating many life long, positive memories in our classroom. This programs for 2 year olds classroom for is filled with children at that age who are constantly seeking attention and praise daily. This is the room where they see themselves as independent individuals who love having all eyes on them! Yes, the two year old stage can be challenging, but our classroom is especially created for children whom we adore. From circle time to outside play to toilet training, it all happens in here. We enjoy caring for your child on a daily basis and look forward to getting to know your family. Below is an overview of what to expect from the Under the Sea classroom.

Self-help Skills:

A big part of being two years old is becoming independent. It is a very confusing time for the child and our Teachers are here to help make the transition smoother. Here are a few things we will be encouraging your child to do on their own. We would greatly appreciate you to do the same as much as possible.

Pulling up and down their pants
Putting on and taking off their coat
Putting on and taking off their shoes
Using fork/spoon
Drinking from a cup without a lid
Using their words

Potty Training:

When your child is about 2 ½ years old we will be encouraging them to use the toilet. They will probably have started to show signs of readiness. Then we will begin teaching them the skills they will need to toilet train. Information will be available at any given time we feel the child is ready!

Expressive Art:

When the children are expressing themselves through art they tend to be messy. We will do our best to keep them clean by providing smocks and washing them off right away. There are going to be times when they will still have art evidence from their creative side when you come to pick-up. Please keep in mind they are exploring and having fun.

Academics:

We are not just going to be coloring and painting. We believe your child can begin their education right here in our classroom! We will encourage the children to learn to identify as much as possible. There will be many activities that will go on in the classroom. Many activities include being read to daily, learning new songs, learning from flashcards, simple sign and Spanish, practicing fine motor skills, and much, much more. Along with that they will get to explore with sensory activities such as water, textures, shaving cream, goop, and much more!

What are your hours of operation?

Monday – Friday 5:30 am – 6:30 pm

What age children do you accept?

6 weeks – 12 years old

Do you offer transportation to local elementary schools?

Yes, we have transportation from Arredondo, Culver, Hutchinson, Long, Jackson, Meyer, Phelan, Pink, Seguin, Smith, Taylor Ray, Thomas, Travis, and Williams (other schools may be added depending upon space and timing of pick up.)

Can I observe my child?

Every classroom has cameras that are recorded and monitored by our staff. We do not allow virtual viewing to protect privacy. Parents are encouraged to stop by anytime to watch live or any recorded sessions.

Do you provide meals and snacks?

Of course. We make it a priority that all children are fed and happy. We actually provide Breakfast, Lunch, Supper, and multiple snacks during the day.

Do children go outside every day?

We do our best to have daily outdoor play time, but it depends on the weather.

What security measures are taken when releasing children?

Only parent approved adults are allowed into the center and to take children home. We check I.D. and have a Sign in/Sign out protocol.

Is your staff trained?

We hire the best professionals in child care. Whenever possible we have recruited teachers who have taught gifted and talented classes. We have spent many hours providing our teachers with additional training in our specially designed curriculum. Our teachers are not only equipped to enhance your child’s development but they truly care about all children. Our teachers work hard to provide a safe, loving and educationally-stimulating environment.

We feel that children need the structure of a schedule. This helps them to become more comfortable and confident when they can predict what comes next. It also gets them ready for school.

Regular briefings on your child’s progress allow you to be a part of their day and keep track of what they are learning. Management is also available to speak to you at any time regarding any concerns you many have.
